Kickstarter is the leading way for the public to fund creative projects of their interest. Supporters of a prospective project become ‘backers’ – pledging small or large amounts to the project’s creators, and in return receive products or other rewards associated with the project. In many cases, the backer is purchasing a DVD before the program is completed.

Kickstarter protects the backer by not releasing funds to the project creator until their financial goal is met, and by screening projects, so that only serious projects, with a real chance of completion and delivery, are offered.

We’re searching for completion funds of about $70,000 to bring Children of Pearl to TV, the Internet, and DVD. Rewards for  backers start at $10.
